Algodon Chardonnay Lands Stateside!
...while our Chardonnay Harvest in San Rafael is in full swing!
0ur annual Chardonnay harvest is currently taking place at Algodon Wine Estates, and the timing could not be better! Our newest 2019 Chardonnay vintage — perhaps our best yet — just landed here in the states!
We are always excited about our new arrivals, but our Chardonnay really stands out among our wine collection. As Algodon is most known for Malbec wines and Malbec blends, our Chardonnay is the only white wine in our current line-up, and it's a true favorite among our loyal customer base.
ALGODON’S CHARDONNAY HARVEST 2021
Algodon Chardonnay is aged for 5 months in new French oak barrels, with flavors from the wood imparting depth and complexity to the wine, and aromas of tropical fruits, citrus and a hint of pear. The bright yellow-green color shows the youth of this wine, and the perfect harmony between the fruit and the wood, combining great fruit and good freshness, makes this wine enjoyable either as an aperitif or with meals.
ALGODON’S CHARDONNAY HARVEST 2021
In our quest to develop representative wines of San Rafael’s terroir and to maintain a high standard of quality and optimal ripening fruit, our winery typically harvests our Chardonnay around this time of year. A carefully chosen harvest date results in optimal ripening of the fruit, which creates a wine of excellent quality. We believe Algodon Chardonnay represents the truest potential of the great white wines.
